Ch. 490                                          LAWS OF MARYLAND

(on-sale) beer, wine and liquor restaurant licenses;
authorizing the Board to issue a caterer's license to
holders of a Class B restaurant or hotel (on-sale) beer,
wine and liquor license; providing for the scope of this
privilege and this license; establishing annual fees and
the hours and days of the week of operation under this
privilege and license; providing that the Sunday privilege
is not considered a class of alcoholic beverages license;
providing that the Sunday privilege is to be incorporated
within the existing license; providing that a caterer's
license may be issued to a holder of a certain class
license; and generally relating to creating a special Sunday
(on-sale) beer, wine and liquor license privilege and
caterers' licenses in Kent County.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

24E.

(A)  IN KENT COUNTY, THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS MAY
ISSUE A CATERER'S LICENSE TO A HOLDER OF A CLASS B RESTAURANT OR
HOTEL (ON-SALE) BEER, WINE AND LIQUOR LICENSE.

(B)  THE ANNUAL FEE FOR THE LICENSE IS $100.

(C)  A CATERER'S LICENSE ISSUED UNDER THIS SECTION
AUTHORIZES THE HOLDER TO PROVIDE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AT EVENTS
THAT ARE HELD OFF THE CLASS B RESTAURANT OR HOTEL (ON-SALE) BEER,
WINE AND LIQUOR LICENSE PREMISES.

(D)  THE HOLDER SHALL PROVIDE FOOD AS WELL AS ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES FOR CONSUMPTION AT THE CATERED EVENT.
