total amounts billed and the total number of units sold by all

vendors during the 1987 calendar year, and, based on that

estimate, shall determine the maximum amount per unit tax allowed

under this Act for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1988.

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections 1, 3,
and 4 of this Act shall take effect July 1, 1988. Section 1 of
this Act shall remain effective until January 1, 1989, and on
January 1, 1989, and with no further action required by the
General Assembly, Section 1 of this Act shall be abrogated and of
no further force and effect.

SECTION 3 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 2 of
this Act shall take effect January 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

Striped Bass or Rockfish, White Perch, and Yellow Perch -
Comprehensive Management Plan

FOR

the purpose of requiring the Department of Natural Resources
to prepare a comprehensive management plan for the
harvesting of striped bass or rockfish, white perch, and
yellow perch; requiring the comprehensive management plan to
include certain factors; requiring the Department to present
the comprehensive management plan to certain groups;
requiring the Department at a certain time to present
certain materials to certain committees of the General
Assembly; and generally relating to the comprehensive
management plan for the harvesting of striped bass or
rockfish, white perch, and yellow perch.
