SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Cecil County - County Administrator

FOR the purpose of establishing, for Cecil County, the office of
County Administrator; providing for a committee to recruit,

evaluate, and recommend candidates for the position;

requiring, in certain situations, the County Commissioners

to accept a candidate recommended by the committee;

specifying certain qualifications, benefits, duties, and
other requirements relating to the County Administrator
position; authorizing the County Commissioners to hire an

Acting County Administrator; authorizing, in certain

situations with certain notice, the removal of a County
Administrator; providing for the implementation of this
position; and generally relating to the position of County
Administrator in Cecil County.

Section 140 through 146 1-40 through 1-44, inclusive, to be
under the new article "Article VIII. County
Administrator" in Chapter 1, "Administration"
