AN ACT concerning

Pretrial Release Services

FOR the purpose of removing the responsibility for pretrial
release services from the Division of Parole and Probation;
eliminating the Pretrial Release Committee; establishing a
Pretrial Release Services Division in the Department of
Public Safety and Correctional Services; providing for the
appointment of a Director and Deputy Director of the
Division; establishing the duties of the Division; and
generally relating to the transfer of responsibility for
pretrial release services.
