(House Bill 820)

AN ACT concerning

Board of Chiropractic Examiners - Per Diem Rate

FOR the purpose of altering the perdiem per diem rate of
compensation for the members of the Board of Chiropractic
Examiners.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Health Occupations

Section 3-204

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1986 Replacement Volume and 1987 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Health Occupations

3-204.

(a)  A majority of the full authorized membership of the
Board is a quorum.

(b)   The Board shall determine the times and places of its
meetings.

(c)   In accordance with the State budget, each member of
the Board is entitled to:

(1)   [$25] $75 $50 for each day on which the member
is engaged in the duties of the member's office; and

(2)  Reimbursement for expenses under the STATE
Standard [State] Travel Regulations.

(d)  The Board may employ a staff in accordance with the
State budget.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.
