INCLUDED IN THE WATER, SEWERAGE, OR DRAINAGE SYSTEMS OF THE
COUNTY.

(4)  THE SYSTEMS AUTHORIZED BY THIS SUBSECTION MAY BE
CONSTRUCTED WITH FUNDS PROVIDED BY THE PRIVATE PERSON.

(5)  THE BOARD MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE COST OF
CONSTRUCTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BOARD'S REGULATIONS WHEN THE
BOARD DETERMINES THAT ITS FINANCIAL PARTICIPATION IS REQUIRED IN
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A WATER AND SEWER SYSTEM UNDERTAKEN BY A
PRIVATE DEVELOPER THAT PROVIDES FACILITIES BEYOND THE
REQUIREMENTS OF THE SYSTEM.

(6)  UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION, THE BOARD
MAY PARTICIPATE FINANCIALLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT THAT EXCEEDS THE
COSTS OF MATERIALS OR OTHER COSTS TOTALING $10,000 OR LESS EXCEED
THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE PRIVATE PROJECT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Calvert County - Compensation Review Board

FOR the purpose of creating a Calvert County Compensation Review
Board; specifying the membership and appointment
requirements for the Board; defining certain terms;
requiring the Board by a certain date to review the salaries
set by law of certain county officials and to review certain
laws and procedures concerning the compensation of County
Commissioners; requiring the Board by a certain date to make
certain recommendations concerning the compensation of
certain county officials to the County Commissioners;
specifying that this Act shall not affect the compensation
of certain officials; repealing inconsistent laws to the
extent of the inconsistency; and generally relating to the
creation of a Calvert County Compensation Review Board.
