(C) THE COMPTROLLER SHALL MAKE A PAYMENT OF THE ADDITIONAL
AMOUNTS PROVIDED UNDER § 2-608(C) OF THIS SUBTITLE ON OR ABOUT
JUNE 1 OF THE FISCAL YEAR FOR WHICH THE PAYMENT IS MADE.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 1 of
this Act shall take effect July 1, 1988 and shall remain
effective until January 1, 1989, and on January 1, 1989, with no
further action required by the General Assembly, Section 1 of
this Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections 2 of

this Act shall take effect January 1, 1989. 2. AND BE IT
FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect January 1, 1989
and shall remain effective until January 1, 1990, and on January
1, 1990, with no further action required by the General Assembly,
this Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.
