(House Bill 484)

AN ACT concerning

First Degree Murder - Minors -
Imprisonment for Life Without Parole

FOR the purpose of providing for imprisonment for life without
the possibility of parole as an alternative penalty for
first degree murder by a minor; requiring the State to
notify a defendant of its intention to seek a sentence of
imprisonment for life without the possibility of parole
under this Act; providing that the. court shall conduct a
certain sentencing proceeding under this Act; and generally
relating to a penalty of imprisonment for life without the
possibility of parole for first degree murder by a minor.
