Services for financial assistance for the construction or
enlargement of a detention center under § 705(e) of this article,
a sentence by any judge of more than 6 months may be to the
Division until the new or enlarged detention center is complete
and operational.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July l, 1987. It shall remain effective for a period

of [one year] 2 YEARS and, at the end of June 30, [1988] 1989, an
with no further action required by the General Assembly, this Act
shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect THIS ACT
SHALL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL JUNE 30, 1990.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore County - Zoning - Quasi-Judicial Procedures
Administrative Proceeding

FOR the purpose of authorizing the legislative body of Baltimore
County to enforce its zoning regulations by a certain
quasi-judicial system; empowering the quasi-judicial system
of Baltimore County to hear zoning cases and provide civil
administrative proceeding; providing that the administrative
proceeding may include the imposition of civil fines and
penalties for zoning violations; and generally relating to
zoning regulation enforcement.
