(2) The State Board for Community Colleges may make
payments to effectuate the provisions of this section from funds
specifically appropriated for this purpose as provided in the
State budget or any supplemental budget request.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That a political
subdivision that sponsors a community college is not obligated
under this Act to compensate the community college for any loss
of out of state tuition for nursing students.
SECTION 2. 3 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning
Mortgages and Deeds of Trust - Continuation Statements
FOR the purpose of altering the circumstances under which certain
parties are entitled to a presumption that a mortgage or
deed of trust has been paid; authorizing a continuation
statement to be filed within a certain time period;
specifying the contents of a continuation statement;
providing that the effectiveness of a mortgage or deed of
trust shall continue for a certain period of time after a
continuation statement is recorded; providing that certain
liens that would have terminated within a certain time
period shall remain in full force and effect; establishing
certain exceptions; making this Act an emergency measure;
and generally relating to releases of mortgages and deeds of
trust.
