RELATED TO CRIMINAL ACTIVITY OR EXCESSIVE FORCE TO THOSE

INSTANCES IN WHICH THE AGENCY DETERMINES THAT FILING

ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGES WITHIN THE ONE YEAR PERIOD WOULD ADVERSELY
AFFECT A PENDING OR ONGOING CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION OR COURT
PROCEEDING EXCESSIVE FORCE.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Anne Arundel County - Detention Center Loan of 1987

FOR the purpose of amending Chapter 349 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1987 (the Anne Arundel County
Detention Center Loan of 1987) in order to delete certain
wording relating to the type of construction to be used for
the addition to the Anne Arundel County Detention Center.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Chapter 349 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1987

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That:

(1) The Board of Public Works may borrow money and incur
indebtedness on behalf of the State of Maryland through a State
loan to be known as the Anne Arundel County - Detention Center
Loan of 1987 in the total principal amount of $475,000. This
loan shall be evidenced by the issuance, sale, and delivery of
State general obligation bonds authorized by a resolution of the
Board of Public Works and issued, sold, and delivered in
