SECTION 3 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the State
Board of Nurses has a 3-year- transitional period for the
implementation of Section 7-310(a) of this Act for all licenses
under Title 8 7 of the Health Occupations Article.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Secretary of
Health and Mental Hygiene shall make an interim report to the
General Assembly at the commencement of the 1990 Legislative
Session, and a final report at the commencement of the 1991
Legislative Session, on the fiscal and administrative impact on
each health occupation board resulting from the setting of
licensing fees for each Board by the Secretary and make
recommendations concerning any changes in the administration of
the boards that the Secretary finds to be in the public interest
and consistent with the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988. It shall remain effective for a period
of 3 years and, at the end of June 30, 1991, and with no further
action required by the General Assembly, this Act shall be
abrogated and of no further force and effect.

AN ACT concerning
Law Enforcement Officers - Administrative Charges -
Limitation
FOR the purpose of prohibiting administrative charges against a
law enforcement officer unless brought within a certain time
period; and providing an exception for charges related to
criminal activity or excessive force to certain instances in
which a law enforcement agency makes a certain determination
excessive force.
