FOR the purpose of altering the membership of the Joint Committee
on Administrative, Executive, and Legislative Review.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - State Government

2-502.

There is a Joint Committee on Administrative, Executive, and
Legislative Review, which is a joint committee of the Senate and
the House.

2-503.

(a) (1) The Committee consists of [16] 18 members.

(2) Of the [16] 18 Committee members:

(i) [8] 9 shall be senators, appointed by the
President with the approval of the Senate; and

(ii). [8] 9 shall be delegates, appointed by the
Speaker with the approval of the House.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.
