SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 15-106(a)(8) of Article - Estates and
Trusts of the Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered to be
Section(s) 15-106(a)(9).

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of
Maryland read as follows:

Article - Estates and Trusts

15-106.

(a) The following investments shall be lawful investments
for any person:

(7)  Obligations issued or guaranteed by the
International Bank for Reconstruction and Development; [or]

(8)  OBLIGATIONS ISSUED OR GUARANTEED BY THE AFRICAN
DEVELOPMENT BANK; OR

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is an
emergency measure, is necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public health and safety, has been passed by a yea and nay
vote supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
