142(a) and (b), the reference to cancellation in §
141(c), and the first clause of the second sentence of
§ 140(g)(3).
In item (1) of this section, reference to "false
information" is substituted for the former reference
to "a false report of the data or information required
by this subtitle", for brevity and clarity.
In item (2) of this section, the former references to
refusing or neglecting to file a report are deleted as
included in the language "failed to file".
In item (5) of this section, the former references to
violation of "terms" or "conditions" are deleted as
included in the word "requirement".
In item (9) of this section, the requirement to keep
"records required under this article, Article 56 of
the Code, or an applicable regulation" is substituted
for the former reference to "records of quantities of
motor vehicle fuel or aviation fuel received,
produced, refined, manufactured, compounded, sold, or
used in the State", for brevity and clarity.

9-331. NOTICE OF CANCELLATION.
IF THE COMPTROLLER CANCELS A LICENSE OR EXEMPTION
CERTIFICATE UNDER § 9-330 OF THIS SUBTITLE, THE COMPTROLLER SHALL
NOTIFY THE LICENSEE OR CERTIFICATE HOLDER IN WRITING SENT TO THE
LAST KNOWN ADDRESS OF THE LICENSEE OR CERTIFICATE HOLDER. THE
NOTICE SHALL BE SENT BY CERTIFIED MAIL, RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED,
UNDER A POSTMARK OF THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first sentence of
former Art. 56, § 142(c).
The former words "appearing in the files of the
Comptroller" in reference to the last known address
are deleted as unnecessary in light of the word
"known".

9-332. JUDICIAL REVIEW.
ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY A CANCELLATION UNDER § 9-330 OF THIS
SUBTITLE OR BY A FINAL DECISION OF THE COMPTROLLER IN A CONTESTED
CASE AS DEFINED IN § 10-201 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE MAY
APPEAL TO THE APPROPRIATE CIRCUIT COURT. THE APPEAL SHALL BE
