WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor                   Ch. 295

Article - Education

14-101.

There is a Board of Trustees of State Universities and
Colleges which exercises direction and control of:

(1)  Bowie State [College] UNIVERSITY;

(2)  Coppin State College;

(3)  Frostburg State University;

(4)  Salisbury State College;

(5)  The University of Baltimore;

(6)  Towson State University; and

(7)  Any other 4-year State college established after
July 1, 1976.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the provisions
of this Act renaming Bowie State College to Bowie State
University shall be contingent on the recommendation of the State
Board for Higher Education (provided the Board has not already
made such recommendation), in accordance with the provisions of §
12-112 of the Education Article, that Bowie State College be
renamed Bowie State University.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

(Senate Bill 319)

AN ACT concerning

Adult Protective Services - Public Guardianship Review Board

FOR the purpose of altering the name of the disabled person's
review board in the Department of Human Resources to be the
adult public guardianship review board.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
