AN ACT concerning

Baltimore County - Alcoholic Beverages Licenses

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Baltimore County Board of
License Commissioners to issue multiple one-day alcoholic
beverages licenses to certain nonprofit charitable
organizations; requiring the applicant to list on the
application, the dates of the events for which an alcoholic
beverages license is necessary; limiting the number of dates
that may be included on each multiple one-day alcoholic
beverages license; and requiring the Board to adopt
regulations for the implementation of this Act.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

25.

(P) (1) IN BALTIMORE COUNTY, THE BOARD OF LICENSE
COMMISSIONERS MAY ISSUE MULTIPLE ONE-DAY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
LICENSES UNDER THIS SECTION TO ANY BONA FIDE NONPROFIT CHARITABLE
ORGANIZATION THAT IS TAX EXEMPT UNDER § 501(C)(3) AND (4) OF THE
UNITED STATES INTERNAL REVENUE CODE.

(2) (I) THE APPLICANT SHALL LIST, ON THE APPLICATION
FOR THE LICENSE, THE DATES OF THE EVENTS FOR WHICH A LICENSE IS
REQUIRED.

(II) A MULTIPLE ONE-DAY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
LICENSE ISSUED UNDER THIS SUBSECTION MAY NOT INCLUDE MORE THAN 12
DATES.----------------------------------------------------------

(3)  THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS SHALL ADOPT
REGULATIONS NECESSARY FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS SUBSECTION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.
