(2)  2 members shall be appointed for a term of 4
years;

(3)  3 members shall be appointed for a term of 3
years; and

(4)  3 members shall be appointed for a term of 2
years.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Juvenile Offenses - Victims and Witnesses -
Rights and Assistance

FOR the purpose of establishing guidelines for the treatment of
and assistance to victims and witnesses of juvenile offenses
that provide notice to victims and witnesses of certain
rights and proceedings and require provide certain
information, assistance, and services to victims and
witnesses of juvenile offenses under certain conditions;
providing immunity from liability for certain officials,
employees, agencies, and governments responsible for the
guidelines; providing for printing and distribution of the
guidelines; defining certain terms; and generally relating
to treatment of and services for victims and witnesses of
juvenile offenses.
