ignition interlock system; prohibiting a certain person from
soliciting another person to attempt to start or start a
motor vehicle equipped with an ignition interlock system;
prohibiting a person from attempting to start or starting,
for a certain purpose, a motor vehicle equipped with an
ignition interlock system; prohibiting a person from
tampering with or attempting to circumvent the operation of
a certain ignition interlock system; establishing penalties
for certain violations; prohibiting a person from knowingly
furnishing to certain persons a motor vehicle not equipped
with a functioning ignition interlock system under certain
circumstances; requiring the Motor Vehicle Administration to
take certain actions and adopt certain rules and regulations
concerning ignition interlock systems; prohibiting certain
persons from taking certain actions regarding the sale or
lease of ignition interlock systems under certain
circumstances; requiring a certain report to the Division of
Parole and Probation; providing that this Act does not
affect or limit the existing authority of a court to
prohibit a person from operating a motor vehicle without an
ignition interlock system before the effective date of this
Act; providing for a delayed effective date; and generally
relating to the use of ignition interlock systems as a
condition of probation.
