respective system, except as otherwise provided.

Governor:

The Board shall consist of 9 members appointed by the

(1) 3 members appointed from the following
departments and offices: the Departments of Personnel, Budget and
Fiscal Planning, and Education; the Comptroller of the Treasury;
the State Treasurer; the State Retirement Agency; or the [State
Board for] MARYLAND Higher Education COMMISSION;

Article 100 - Work, Labor and Employment

The Governor's plan shall include but not be limited to:

(8) Provisions to maximize the utilization of
existing State, local, and private institutions and organizations
which have demonstrated effectiveness in the provision of
employment and training programs (which include but are not
limited to public schools, including vocational-technical
schools, community colleges, State approved proprietary schools,
State colleges and universities, the University of Maryland
SYSTEM, and business and industry).

Article - Agriculture

2-203.

(a) The Commission has 17 members. One member is ex officio
and is the principal administrative official for agricultural
affairs at the University of Maryland SYSTEM as designated by the
[President] CHANCELLOR of the university. The Governor appoints
the remaining 16 members as follows:

(1)  Two from a list of at least four nominees
representing the dairy industry;

(2)  Two from a list of at least four nominees
representing the poultry industry;

(3)  One from a list of at least two nominees
representing the livestock industry;

(4) One from a list of at least two nominees
representing the tobacco industry;
