(2)  The county share is 32 percent of current
expenses for Cecil Community College, Garrett Community College,
and Chesapeake College.

(3)  Any county, or the counties that support a
regional community college, may pay more than its share of the
current expenses.

(4)  BEGINNING IN FISCAL YEAR 1989 AND EACH FISCAL
YEAR THEREAFTER, IN ORDER FOR A BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO RECEIVE AN
INCREASE IN THE STATE SHARE OF SUPPORT, THE COUNTY SHALL PROVIDE
OPERATING FUND APPROPRIATIONS TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES IN AN
AMOUNT NOT LESS THAN THE COUNTY PROVIDED IN THE PREVIOUS FISCAL
YEAR.

(e) (1) Except as otherwise provided in this subsection,
the students at each community college shall pay, through tuition
and fees, at least 22 percent of current expenses.

(2)  The students shall pay, through tuition and fees,
17 percent of current expenses at Wor-Wic Tech Community College.

(3)  The students, through tuition and fees, shall pay
13 percent of current expenses at Cecil Community College,
Garrett Community College, and Chesapeake College.

(4)  This subsection does not prohibit a county or
regional board of trustees from requiring students at the
community college to pay more than their share of the current
expenses.

16-403.1.

(a)  (1) In addition to any other State aid for community
colleges there is a [low income student grant] SUPPLEMENTAL
FUNDING program.

(2)  The program shall be administered by the State
Board for Community Colleges as provided in this section.

(3)  The State Board for Community Colleges may adopt
reasonable rules and regulations to carry out the [low income
student grant] SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING program.

(b)  [(1) Each community college shall be eligible to
receive a low income student grant in the amount calculated under
this section if the college receives operating fund
appropriations from the county of an amount not less than it
received during the preceding fiscal year.

(2)] The low income student grants THE SUPPLEMENTAL
FUNDING shall be distributed to each eligible community college
