(House Bill 1391)

AN ACT concerning

Charles County - Alcoholic Beverages Licenses

FOR the purpose of altering the fee for a transfer or assignment
of an alcoholic beverages license in Charles County; and
providing that the fee includes the processing expenses that
the Charles County Board of License Commissioners shall
incur in processing the transfer or assignment.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 74(c)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

74.

(c) (1) In Charles County the fee for assignment and/or
transfer of a license shall be [one hundred dollars ($100.00)]
$200.

(2) THIS FEE INCLUDES THE PROCESSING EXPENSES THAT
SHALL BE INCURRED BY THE BOARD IN PROCESSING THE ASSIGNMENT OR
TRANSFER.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.
