SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 1-1, 1-3, 1-12, 1-22, 1-22A, 1-33,
1-36, 1-37, 1-38, 1-39, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 5-1, 8-1, 8-2, 8-3, 8-4,
12-1, 12-2, 16-1, 16-2, 17-1, 17-2, 17-3, 17-4, 17-5, 17-6, 17-7,
17-8, 20-3, 21-1, 21-2, 21-3, 21-4, and 21-5 of Article 8 - Cecil
County of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland be repealed.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of
Maryland read as follows:

The BOARD OF County Commissioners [of Cecil County] are
hereby authorized and empowered to MAY appropriate and contribute
