LAWS OF MARYLAND

(III) EMPLOYMENT AS TO RACE, COLOR, RELIGION,
NATIONAL ORIGIN, SEX, AGE, MARITAL STATUS, PHYSICAL OR MENTAL
HANDICAP.

(2) THE DEPARTMENT SHALL MAKE DETERMINATIONS OF
DISCRIMINATION OR LACK OF DISCRIMINATION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Harford County - Recordation Tax Proceeds

FOR the purpose of providing the proceeds from the Harford County
Recordation Tax, after debt service has been met in a fiscal
year, be used for new school construction, systemic
improvements, or portable classrooms.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 12-113

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Tax - Property

12-113.

(a) In Harford County the collector shall deposit proceeds
from recordation tax at the rate of $2.20 in a special capital
improvement fund to be used to pay school bonds issued on the
faith and credit of Harford County after January 1, 1959. [When
all school bonds issued after that date have been paid, the money
collected from this tax at the $2.20 rate shall be credited to
the general fund of the county.] AFTER THE DEBT SERVICE FOR THE
CURRENT FISCAL YEAR HAS BEEN MET, THE MONEYS COLLECTED FROM THIS
