Ch. 206                                          LAWS OF MARYLAND

(A)  THE COMMISSION SHALL STUDY THE SALARIES OF THE:

(1)  ALLEGANY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS;

(2)  BOARD OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES LICENSE
COMMISSIONERS;

(3)  BOARD OF ELECTION SUPERVISORS;

(4)  COUNTY COMPTROLLER;

(5)  JUDGES OF THE ORPHANS' COURT;

(6)  SHERIFF; AND

(7)  STATE'S ATTORNEY, AND THE STATE'S ATTORNEY'S
DEPUTIES.

(B)  PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE 1989 SESSION OF THE
GENERAL ASSEMBLY, AND PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF EACH SESSION
EVERY 4 YEARS THEREAFTER, THE COMMISSION SHALL MAKE
RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING SALARIES OF THE OFFICES IN SUBSECTION
(A) OF THIS SECTION TO THE ALLEGANY COUNTY DELEGATION MEMBERS OF
THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY REPRESENTING ANY PART OF ALLEGANY COUNTY AND
TO THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

(House Bill 597)

AN ACT concerning

Workers' Compensation - Subsequent Injury Fund - Assessments

FOR the purpose of requiring the Workmen's Compensation
Commission to round off to the nearest whole dollar the
assessments paid into the Subsequent Injury Fund by
employers and their insurance carriers.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 101 - Workmen's Compensation
Section 66(2)
