AN ACT concerning

Dorchester County - Bailiffs - Compensation

FOR the purpose of providing that the rate of compensation for
bailiffs in Dorchester County shall be set up by the court
and confirmed by the County Commissioners.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

2-506.

(a) A bailiff shall receive the compensation provided in
this section.. Unless otherwise provided, the amount is a per
diem sum for each day he attends the circuit court.

(10) Dorchester County - [$15] AS SET BY THE COURT
AND CONFIRMED BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.
