WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor                   Ch. 128

(1)  THE MARYLAND THORACIC SOCIETY;

(2)  THE MARYLAND/DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA SOCIETY OF
RESPIRATORY CARE; AND

(3)  THE MARYLAND/DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA SOCIETY OF
ANESTHESIOLOGY.

(C)  AFTER JULY 1, 1989, AN INDIVIDUAL SHALL BE CERTIFIED BY
THE BOARD BEFORE THE PERSON MAY PRACTICE RESPIRATORY CARE IN THIS
STATE.

(D)  THIS SECTION DOES NOT LIMIT THE RIGHT OF AN INDIVIDUAL
TO PRACTICE A HEALTH OCCUPATION THAT THE INDIVIDUAL IS AUTHORIZED
TO PRACTICE UNDER THIS ARTICLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That any person who
is certified by the State Board of Medical Examiners to practice
respiratory care on July 1, 1988, shall be considered certified
under this Act.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

(Senate Bill 192)

AN ACT concerning

State Units Issuers - Reporting Requirement for Private

Activity Bonds

FOR the purpose of requiring certain State units State issuers to
annually report the actual and projected issuance of certain
bonds by a certain date; defining certain terms; and
generally relating to the issuance of private activity bonds
by State units issuers.
