AN ACT concerning

Highway Safety Program and Coordinating Committee -
Maryland Highway Safety Coordinating Committee

FOR the purpose of abolishing the Maryland Highway Safety
Coordinating Committee; and clarifying certain authorities
of the Governor and the Department of Transportation in
establishing and administering the State highway safety
program.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 2-401, 2-405, 2-406, 2-407, 2-408, and

2-409 of Article - Transportation of the Annotated Code of

Maryland be repealed.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of
Maryland read as follows:
