AN ACT concerning

Marriage Licenses and Marriage Certificates -
Social Security Numbers

FOR the purpose of requiring an applicant for a marriage license
to give the clerk of the circuit court the social security
number of each party to be married the clerk of court to
place on marriage certificates social security numbers that
are voluntarily disclosed on marriage license applications;
requiring marriage licenses license applications and
marriage certificates to include space for the social
security numbers of the parties; and providing for the
application of this Act.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 2-402(c), (d), and (e), respectively,
of Article - Family Law of the Annotated Code of Maryland be
renumbered to be Section(s) 2-402(d), (e), and (f), respectively.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of
Maryland read as follows:
