(g) Notwithstanding this section, §§ 14-510 and 14-511 of
this title apply to:

(1)  The [Commission] BOARD; and

(2)  Any other entity, to the extent that it is acting
in an investigatory capacity for the [Commission] BOARD.

14-603.

(a) This section applies to:

(1)  The Faculty;

(2)  A component medical society of the Faculty;

(3)  A committee of the Faculty or of a component
medical society of the Faculty;

(4)  A hospital, related institution or other health
care facility staff committee;

(5)  A hospital, related institution, or other health
care facility credentials committee or its equivalent;

(6)  The chief executive officer of a hospital,
related institution, or other health care facility;

(7)  The dean of any medical school in this State;

(8)  A member of the Board;

[(9) A member of the Commission or its agents or
employees;]

[(10)] (9) A casualty insurer writing medical
professional liability insurance in this State; and

[(11)] (10) A utilization committee of:

(i) A nonprofit health service plan; or

(ii) A health insurer doing business in this
State.

TITLE, THE BOARD, ON THE AFFIRMATIVE VOTE OF A MAJORITY OF ITS
FULL AUTHORIZED MEMBERSHIP, MAY REPRIMAND OR PLACE AN
ACUPUNCTURIST ON PROBATION OR SUSPEND OR REVOKE THE REGISTRATION
