to this section, of the reference to the "Secretary of
General Services, the Secretary of Transportation, and
the President of the University of Maryland" for the
former word "Secretary", see revisor's note to §
14-203 of this subtitle.

In items (2) and (4) of this section, the reference to
"construction related services" is added to reflect
the requirements of § 14-202 of this subtitle.

Also in items (2) and (4) of this section, the word
"supplies" is substituted for the former word
"products", for clarity and to conform to the language
used throughout this Division II.

14-205. DUTY OF DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND EMPLOYMENT
DEVELOPMENT.

THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT SHALL
HELP THE SECRETARIES OF GENERAL SERVICES AND TRANSPORTATION AND
THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND IN ESTABLISHING
PROCEDURES TO:

(1) COMPILE AND MAINTAIN A COMPREHENSIVE BIDDER'S
LIST OF SMALL BUSINESSES;

(2) LOCATE POTENTIAL SOURCES FOR VARIOUS SUPPLIES AND
SERVICES; AND

(3) AFFIRMATIVELY SEEK TO LOCATE POTENTIAL MINORITY
BUSINESS ENTERPRISE SOURCES FOR THOSE SUPPLIES AND SERVICES CARRY
OUT § 14-204(1) AND (2) OF THIS SUBTITLE.
