Subsections (b), (c), (d)(1), (e), and (f) of this
section are new language derived without substantive
change from former SF § 11-143.

Subsection (d)(2) of this section is added as standard
language. Those regulations are adopted by the
Department of Personnel.

In subsection (c)(3) of this section, the reference to
the "President" of Blind Industries and Services of
Maryland is substituted for the former obsolete
reference to the "executive vice president" since that
organization does not have an executive vice
president.

In subsection (f)(2) of this section, the word
"services" is added to conform to subsection (f)(1) of
this section.

14-105. LISTS OF SUPPLIES AND SERVICES OF BLIND INDUSTRIES.

EVERY
SHALL:

6 MONTHS, BLIND INDUSTRIES AND SERVICES OF MARYLAND

(1)  REVISE THE LIST OF SUPPLIES AND SERVICES THAT IT
PROVIDES; AND

(2)  SEND THE LIST TO THE SECRETARY OF GENERAL
SERVICES AND EACH PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR BUYING SUPPLIES OR
SERVICES FOR THE STATE OR A STATE AIDED OR CONTROLLED ENTITY:

(I) THE LIST; AND

(II) THE PRICES OF SUPPLIES AND SERVICES SET BY
THE PRICING COMMITTEE FOR BLIND INDUSTRIES AND SERVICES OF
MARYLAND.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former SF § ll-142(b).

The introductory language of this section, "[e]very 6
months", is added to state expressly that Blind
Industries and Services of Maryland must distribute
the current list. Under the former law, the list was
to be revised "semiannually", but no time limit
applied to distribution.
