(2) A DIFFERENT DEFINITION IS PROVIDED FOR A
PARTICULAR TITLE OR PROVISION.

In the introductory language of this subsection, the
reference to "Division II" is substituted for the
former reference to "subtitle" to reflect the
reorganization of this revised Division. The
substituted language is broader since this Division
contains provisions from former Title 11, Subtitle 2
and Title 12. At the same time, provisions that
appeared in former Title 11, Subtitle 1 now are
contained in new titles that correspond to distinct
areas of the procurement laws. Thus, definitions that
applied to only one subtitle in the former law now
apply throughout Division II. See revisor's note to §
11-203 of this title.

The only other changes are in style.

(B) ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES.

(1)   "ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES" MEANS PROFESSIONAL OR
CREATIVE WORK THAT:

(I)  IS PERFORMED IN CONNECTION WITH THE DESIGN
AND SUPERVISION OF CONSTRUCTION OR LANDSCAPING; AND

(II)  REQUIRES ARCHITECTURAL EDUCATION,
TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE.

(2)   "ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES" INCLUDES CONSULTATION,
RESEARCH, INVESTIGATION, EVALUATION, PLANNING, ARCHITECTURAL
DESIGN AND PREPARATION OF RELATED DOCUMENTS, AND COORDINATION OF
SERVICES THAT STRUCTURAL, CIVIL, MECHANICAL, AND ELECTRICAL
ENGINEERS AND OTHER CONSULTANTS PROVIDE.

(3)   "ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES" DOES NOT INCLUDE
CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION SERVICES.
