AN ACT concerning

Department of Licensing and Regulation - Fees

FOR the purpose of altering the license fees and certain other
fees charged by certain Boards within the Department of
Licensing and Regulation; making stylistic changes;
providing for the codification of this Act under certain
circumstances; and generally relating to fees charged by the
Department of Licensing and Regulation.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 56 - Licenses

Section 223, 254(b), 311, 314, 418(d), 450, 453(b), 500, and

516(a)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 56 - Licenses

223.

The following fees shall be charged by and paid to the
Commission by resident applicants.

(a)  For each real estate broker's license a fee of [$70]
$80 and for each biennial registration of said license
thereafter, a fee of $80.

(b)  For taking any written examination in order to be a
real estate broker, a fee of $10 and for real estate salesman, a
fee of $5. In addition, applicants taking either examination
shall be required to pay directly to the testing service selected
by the Commission a fee covering the actual cost of giving the
examination.

(c)  For each license as an associate real estate broker
issued to a member of a partnership, association, or officer of a
corporation other than the member of the partnership or
association, or officer of the corporation named in the license
issued to such partnership, association, or corporation, a fee of
