fiscal year 1988 to provide funds
for the design of a meat
processing plant to be located at
the Maryland Correctional
Institution - Hagerstown, and for
the conversion of the former
paint plant and SUI warehouse at
the Maryland House of Correction
into furniture assembly plants
and the former reupholstery plant
at the Maryland Correctional
Institution for Women - Jessup
into a data entry, sewing and
telemarketing operation.

funds may not be expended from this
appropriation until State Use Industries
presents a plan to the budget committees
that outlines the proposed use of the

new facilities, and the budget

committees approve the use of the funds.
