authorized to administer the

Motor Carrier Safety Program may
be filled only to the extent

approved after the budget

committees have received and

reviewed:

1. a plan for consolidating

administration of the

program under a single

agency; and

2. a plan for deployment of

inspection personnel

indicating how personnel are
allocated among facilities
and hours of operation at
current and projected force
levels, provided that new
positions authorized herein
to administer the Motor
Carrier Safety Program may
be filled only to the extent
approved after the budget
committees have received and
approved:

1.  A plan for consolidating

administration of the

program under a single
agency; and

2.  A plan of deployment for
