It is the further intent of the

General Assembly that the

department restructure the cost
containment measures incorporated
in the budget and present
alternatives to the $1 co-payment

on pharmacy services for

recipients in federal eligibility
categories, the $1.50 increase
($2 total) in the co-payment on
pharmacy services for recipients

in State-only eligibility

categories, the elimination of

transportation services for

recipients in State-only

eligibility categories, the

freeze on Health Maintenance
Organization rates, and the $4
increase ($5 total) in the
co-payment on services in the
Pharmacy Assistance Program-
Alternatives should be presented
to the budget fiscal committees
by June 1, 1988.
