20-107.

(a) (2) [In this section, "disabled] "DISABLED individual"
means an individual who lacks sufficient understanding or
capacity to make or communicate a responsible decision on health
care for the individual because of:

(i) A physical disability[.];

(ii) Chronic alcoholism[.];

(iii) Drug addiction[.];

(iv) A disease[.]; or

(v) A mental disability, including senility.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

Error: Redundant language and erroneous punctuation
in § 20-107(a)(2) of the Health - General Article.

Occurred: Redundant language occurred in Chs. 540 and
591, Acts of 1984. Erroneous punctuation occurred in
the printing of the 1987 Replacement Volume of the
Health - General Article.

20-114.

(c) A physician satisfies the requirements of [subsection
(a)(1)] SUBSECTION (A) of this section if:

(1)  The physician provides the breast implantation
patient with the standardized written summary described in
subsection (b) of this section;

(2)  The patient receives the standardized written
summary 5 days before the breast implantation operation; and

(3)  The patient signs a statement provided by the
Department acknowledging the receipt of the standardized written
summary.
