SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

CHAPTER 209

(House Bill 310)

AN ACT concerning

Wicomico County and Anne Arundel Counties -
Obscene Performances - Prohibition

FOR the purpose of prohibiting a person from participating in a
certain manner in certain obscene performances or
entertainment in Wicomico County; prohibiting certain
persons from knowingly permitting certain premises to be
used for obscene performances in Wicomico County; defining
certain terms repealing a certain definition of the term
"obscene" for the purpose of adopting the standard for
obscenity stated by the Supreme Court in Miller v.
California, 413 U.S. 15 (1973); providing penalties; making
this Act an emergency measure; and generally relating to the
prohibition of obscene performances in Wicomico County and
Anne Arundel counties.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
