FROM THE DATE THAT THE AGRICULTURAL PRESERVATION AGREEMENT WAS
RECORDED;

(II)  INTEREST ON THE TOTAL TAX LIABILITY AS
REQUIRED UNDER § 14-605 OF THIS ARTICLE; AND

(III)  A TAX PENALTY AS REQUIRED UNDER § 14-703
OF THIS ARTICLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning

Professional Counselors

FOR the purpose of altering the period for waiving the
requirements for certification as a professional counselor.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Health Occupations

15.5-306.

Until [July 1, 1988] JULY 1, 1989, the Board shall waive the
requirements for certification as a professional counselor under
§ 15.5-304 § 15.5-302(d) of this subtitle for any person who:

(1) Holds a master's degree in a professional
counseling field or completed a program of studies judged by the
Board to be substantially equivalent in subject matter and extent
of training to a master's degree in a professional counseling
field;
