AN ACT concerning

Calvert County - Industrial Park Authority

FOR the purpose of altering the number of members of Calvert
County Industrial Park Authority; and altering the number of
members that are representatives of financial institutions
adding certain persons to the membership of the Authority.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 5 - Calvert County

11-204.

(a) The authority is a body corporate and politic and is
constituted a public instrumentality of the county. The exercise
by the authority of the powers conferred by the provisions of
this subtitle shall be deemed to be the performance of essential
governmental functions. The authority consists of [7] 9 members,
appointed for 3 year terms by the county commissioners, subject
to the approval of the county delegation to the general assembly.
The members shall include:

(1)  An elected official;

(2) [A representative] THREE REPRESENTATIVES of
[a] financial [institution] INSTITUTION;

(3)  The superintendent of schools or his designee;

(4)  The chairman of the Calvert County Economic
Development Commission, or his designee;

(5)  A farmer , ;
