WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor Ch. 11
previously imposed, or (iii) terminate any release pursuant to
this section and place any person under probation as provided in
§ 643A of [Article 27 of the Code] THIS ARTICLE.
DRAFTER'S NOTE: This deletes an obsolete designation of a
subsection and corrects stylistic errors in
cross-references in Article 27, § 639A.
Subsection (b) of § 639A was repealed in Ch. 889 of
the Acts of 1982, making the designation of subsection
(a) unnecessary. The stylistic errors in the
cross-references to various sections of Article 27
occurred in Ch. 865 of the Acts of 1974.
The obsolete designation of the subsection was noted
by the Computer Division of the Department of
Legislative Reference. The stylistic errors were
noted by the Administrative Offices of the Courts of
Maryland.
681C.
(a) (3) (i) The provisions of this subsection shall be
suspended by the Board of Public Works if the Board of Public
Works determines that, as a result of the volume and scope of
activities and sales by State Use Industries, the purposes of
[Article 21 of the Code] DIVISIONS II AND III OF THE STATE
FINANCE AND PROCUREMENT ARTICLE are being unduly eroded.
DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects an outdated cross-reference
in Article 27, 681C(a)(3)(i).
Article 21 became Divisions II and III of the State
Finance and Procurement Article in Chs. 11 and 12 of
the Acts of the Regular Session of 1985.
The outdated cross-reference was noted by the Michie
Company and by the Library Services and Information
Division of the Department of Legislative Reference.
