Amendment No. 9:

Amendment No. 10:
On page 84, in line 24, strike "186,099,207" and substitute
"184,699,207".
Amendment No. 11:
On page 101, in lines 17 through 19 inclusive, lines 24
through 26 inclusive, and lines 32 through 34 inclusive, in each
instance strike "legislation raising the Current Expense Formula
per pupil amount to $1,885" and substitute "House Bill 1396",
respectively.
Amendment No. 12:
On page 101, strike line 40 and substitute "General Fund
Appropriation, provided that up to $750,000 may be used for a
broad range of services to assist in the return of handicapped
children to Maryland or the prevention of new Out-of-State
placements of handicapped children and that these funds are not
limited to expenditures considered part of the General State
School Fund, and further provided that the $4,250,000 to increase
the funding for public school handicapped programs shall be
distributed in accordance with recommendations of the Governor's
Task Force to Study the Funding of Special Education and each
subdivision's share shall be:
