Article 8 - Public Local Laws of Maryland

       SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 8 - Cecil County

9-7.

In each year during the month of May the board of estimates
prior to the adoption of the budget shall, after public notice
(which said public notice shall also contain a copy of the
proposed budget) hold at least two public hearings on the
proposed budget, one of which shall be held during evening hours.
Public notice of the time and place of said hearing shall be
given by at least one week's notice in at least [two newspapers]
ONE NEWSPAPER of general circulation in Cecil County. From May
1st to June lst in each year at least one copy of such proposed
budget shall be available for public inspection at the office of
the board of estimates during all regular business hours.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning

Carroll County - County Commissioners - Impact Fees

FOR the purpose of authorizing the County Commissioners of
Carroll County, by ordinance or resolution, to fix, impose,
and collect certain development impact fees for certain
purposes; repealing a certain provision of law; and
requiring the Carroll County Commissioners to submit to the
members of the General Assembly who represent any portion of
Carroll County Delegation of the General Assembly certain
written report on or before commencement of certain
legislative sessions.
