LAWS OF MARYLAND

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 7 - Carroll County

3-77.

(A) THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY PROVIDE THAT A VIOLATION
OF ANY ORDINANCE, RESOLUTION, RULE, REGULATION, OR BYLAW ADOPTED
BY IT IS:

(1)  A MISDEMEANOR PUNISHABLE BY A FINE NOT TO EXCEED
$1,000 OR IMPRISONMENT NOT TO EXCEED 6 MONTHS IN THE CARROLL
COUNTY DETENTION CENTER; OR

(2)  A CIVIL INFRACTION PUNISHABLE BY A PENALTY NOT TO
EXCEED $1,000.

(B) THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY PROVIDE FOR THE
ADMINISTERING OF THE ISSUANCE OF CITATIONS FOR CIVIL INFRACTIONS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

Carroll County - Alcoholic Beverages - Licenses

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Board of License Commissioners
of Carroll County to issue certain licenses; making certain
license fees payable to The Board of License Commissioners
of Carroll County; defining a certain term; and generally
relating to liquor licenses in Carroll County.
