SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

21.

(a) A Class D beer, wine and liquor license shall be issued
by the clerk of the circuit court of the county in which the
place of business is located. It [shall authorize] AUTHORIZES
the holder [thereof] to keep for sale and sell all alcoholic
beverages at retail at the place [therein] described IN IT, for
consumption on the premises or elsewhere. [No] A license
[shall] MAY NOT be issued for any drugstore. The annual fee for
the license [shall be] IS $500, except as hereinafter provided,
and shall be [payable] PAYED to the clerk before any license is
issued, for distribution as hereinafter provided.

(M) IN QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY, A CLASS D BEER, WINE AND LIQUOR
(ON-SALE) LICENSE MAY BE ISSUED:

(1)  FOR ON-PREMISES CONSUMPTION ONLY; AND

(2)  FOR AN ANNUAL FEE OF $1,800.
