WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor                     Ch. 26

(12)(13) If the Commission, in the course of
considering a complaint subject to (d), finds that there are
reasonable grounds to believe that the respondent may have
committed a criminal offense, the matter shall be referred
promptly to an appropriate prosecuting authority. The Commission
shall make available to the prosecuting authority all pertinent
evidence under its control.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

AN ACT concerning

Institutions of Higher Education - Credit Cards

FOR the purpose of allowing purchases by credit card of products
and services provided through the auxiliary operations of
the public institutions of higher education.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Education

Section 11-102

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1985 Replacement Volume and 1986 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Education

11-102.

(a) Each public institution of higher education may honor
credit cards as payment for:

(1)  Tuition and fees; [and]

(2)  Room and board; AND

(3)  ANY GOODS OR SERVICES PURCHASED FROM OTHER
AUXILIARY ENTERPRISES.
