EXECUTIVE ORDER OF JANUARY 19, 1987

SUSQUEHANNA RIVER BASIN COMMISSION -
REVENUE BONDS

WHEREAS, Chapter 668 of the Acts of 1984 amends the statute
regarding the interest rate charged on revenue bonds issued
by the Susquehanna River Basin Commission; and

WHEREAS, Chapter 668 provides "That this Act may not take effect
until after June 1, 1984 or until a similar Act is passed by
the signatory parties to the Susquehanna River Basin
Compact; that the federal government, the State of New York
and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania are requested to concur
in this Act of the General Assembly of Maryland by the
passage of a similar Act; and that upon that event the
Governor of the State of Maryland shall issue a proclamation
declaring this Act valid and effective"; and
