(c)  If a county school system has an enrollment of 50,000
students or more but less than 100,000 students, the county board
shall have seven members.

(d)  If a county school system has an enrollment of 100,000
students or more, the county board shall have nine members except
as provided in § 3-701 of this title for Montgomery County.

(e)  The Worcester County Board consists of seven members
and includes the five members serving on July 1, 1974 and the
two additional members appointed on July 1, 1974. One of the
additional members serves for a term of 4 years and. the other
for a term of 5 years and, at the expiration of these terms, they
or their successors serve for a term of 5 years each.

(F) (1) THE WICOMICO COUNTY BOARD CONSISTS OF 7 MEMBERS.

(2) THE TERM OF A MEMBER IS 5 YEARS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the incumbent
members of the Wicomico County Board who hold office on July 1,
1987 shall serve out their terms and continue to hold office
until their successors are appointed.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the terms of the
two members of the Wicomico County Board added by this Act shall
expire as follows:

(1)  1 member in 1991; and

(2)  1 member in 1992.
Thereafter members serve for 5-year terms.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.
