(e) 1) An employer who violates this section is guilty of a
misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not more
than $500 for each employee involved, or for each offense,
whichever is greater.
(2) An employer who compels a nonmanagerial or
nonprofessional employee to work on the employee's chosen day of
rest in violation of this section shall be liable to the
employee for wages at the rate of three times the employee's
regular rate of pay for all hours worked by the employee on his
chosen day of rest. The foregoing sentence shall appear in any
application form for employment.
(3) This section may not be construed to permit any
fine or penalty against any supervisory employee or agent who has
been caused, directed, or authorized by his employer to violate
any provision of this section, in which case the employer shall
be subject to the sanctions prescribed by this section.]

(A) IN BALTIMORE CITY AND IN ANNE ARUNDEL, BALTIMORE,
CARROLL, AND HARFORD, AND HOWARD COUNTIES, A NEW OR USED CAR
DEALER MAY NOT SELL, DISPOSE, BARTER, DEAL IN, DELIVER, GIVE
AWAY, SHOW OR OFFER FOR SALE ANY MOTOR VEHICLE OR ANY CERTIFICATE
OF TITLE FOR ANY MOTOR VEHICLE ON SUNDAY.
(B) ANY DEALER, WHO VIOLATES ANY PROVISION OF THIS SECTION
IS GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND ON CONVICTION IS SUBJECT TO A FINE
NOT EXCEEDING $10,000.

(a) The provisions of this section apply only to Anne
Arundel County.
(b) (1) It is unlawful on Sunday for any wholesale or
retail establishment to conduct business for labor or profit in
the usual manner and location or to operate its establishment in
any manner for the general public.
(2) A wholesale or retail establishment may not
cause, direct, permit, or authorize any employee or agent to
engage in or conduct business on its behalf on Sunday.
(c) The State's Attorney of Anne Arundel County may
petition the circuit court to enjoin any violation of this
section.
(d) (1) Any person, firm, or corporation violating the
provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon
conviction, is subject to the penalties provided by this
subsection.
